(Gaelic Park, NY) – There will be a Hurling Level 1 Course Friday Oct. 11 and Saturday Oct. 12 in Gaelic Park provided by Connacht Council Hurling Director Damien Coleman and one of the top Galway hurlers in history Sean Silke.

The course will take place on Friday night from 6:00pm in Gaelic Park and last until 9:30pm and will take place from 9AM to 5PM on Saturday.
If you have not registered for the course and would still like to attend you can still do so. The cost of the course will be $25 for all late registrants.

Anyone under the age of 16 can do the course free of charge and are very much encouraged to do so! As Gaelic Games are spreading throughout the country, this is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of hurling as well as to bring back invaluable coaching fundamentals and tips to one’s respective club community. Speaking from experience, these courses cover all the basics and are well worth the time and nominal course fee.

The tutors will also be running club coaching sessions for underage players and will be having a meeting of youth clubs on Thursday evening.
